Do you know the vision of c3 Church on 78? If you have attended any of our Sunday Messages, Connect Groups, or Events, you have experienced the culture of c3 Church on 78. Senior Pastors Brian and Jessica Lenox, along with the leadership team, have been called by God to carry out the vision and culture of this church, which became a stand-alone entity in 2016. Here is why this church is so special, loving, warm, inviting, and growing.
Here is the vision of C3 Church on 78 — “To believe in people and equip them to fulfill their God-given purpose by empowering them to influence their community”. We make sure that we keep the vision as the goal in everything that we do at c3.
Together we all carry the CULTURE of our church. Here is our culture described with supporting biblical scripture.
Accepting
Open, welcoming, to receive with approval and favor.
“But the crowds found out where he was going, and they followed him. He welcomed them and taught them about the Kingdom of God, and he healed those who were sick” (Luke 9:11).
Authentic
Genuine, real, representing our true nature and belief, proven true.
[The Beatitudes ] “God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs” (Matthew 5:3).
Celebrated
To commemorate with ceremonies and festivities, widespread praise, to applaud, honor.
“If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them wanders away, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others on the hills and go out to search for the one that is lost? And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he will rejoice over it more than over the ninety-nine that didn’t wander away! In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish” (Matthew 18:12-14).
Generational
Closing the gap between various groups of the same age, ideas, problems, attitudes. Reproduction. Multiplication.
“Generation after generation stands in awe of your work; each one tells stories of your mighty acts” (Psalms 145:4).
Generous
Unselfish. Liberal in giving and sharing. Free from meanness or smallness of mind or character. Large and abundant.
“They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day, the Lord added to their fellowship, those who were being saved” (Acts 2:45-47).
Holy Spirit
The Spirit of God. Resurrection Life. Power of God moving in and through our lives, changing us and the world around us.
“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you” (John 14:15-18).
Relational
A significant association between people, connection, the act of relating to one another, relevance.
“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me” (John 15:13-15).
Come join us for Sunday messages, connect groups, events, etc. at c3 Church on 78 to experience our vision and culture. You will be glad that you did! We look forward to seeing you!
