In these times it’s a good idea to lean into the word of God. He reminds us not to stress and worry but to remain with our heads held high, for we are promised something greater.
Let these Bible verses remind you of God’s love and all the reasons why you can let the worry and stress of your life’s tribulations fall away and trust in the Lord.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Plainly and clearly Joshua reminds us that there is no reason to fear. Be strong and courageous because the Lord is always with you.
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Another reminder that He walks with you in every step you take. While you may be confused about what’s going on in your life there is no reason to be afraid or discouraged, He has a plan for you.
“I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”
God is all around us, especially in the magic and beauty of spring. Take solace in the blooming flowers, growing gardens, and departing winter that the goodness of the Lord is everywhere.
Even in the darkest of times, there is no need to worry because you are waiting for the Lord.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
If you are ever feeling worried, anxious, or stressed simply call out to the Lord in prayer. Allow Him to take you into His refuge and allow you to find peace.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Through every trial, every defeat, every setback, the strong right hand of the Lord is there to scoop you back up. He will be the strength for you.
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
This is why we pray. Speak your truth to God. Build your own personal relationship and conversation with the Lord. Allow Him to take in your burdens and fill the space for anxiety in your heart with pure love and light.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Because you walk a righteous path you need not be afraid. All the Lord can leave you with is peace.
We hope this gives you some serenity. In times of great stress and worry, we must only lean harder on the word and hand of God.
In these uncertain times, the strength of the Lord holds us up as a pillar of strength. Allow Him to carry you through your rough seas and He will bring the reward to your life on the other side.
